1. Find your assigned Berkeley Times article and read it.

COLLABORATE WITH YOUR PARTNER (this is the person that shares the 2-page spread with you)
2. Look for an example layout that you both could use as inspiration (based on your article's content).
3. Decide on a color palette for BOTH OF YOUR layouts and add to your InDesign File.
ADD THE CMYK VALUE ABOVE YOUR COLOR PALETTE SO THAT YOU AND YOUR PARTNER HAVE THE SAME EXACT COLORS!
4. Begin your layout in InDesign. Save in the STUDENT INDESIGN PAGES folder.

5. Begin Your Design (Insert and arrange articles, photos, teacher tags, and other artistic elements)
