Assignment:

1st Mini-Tech Project: All About Me!

Directions: In order to get to know you a little better you are going to create a tech. presentation to introduce yourself to the class, using a tool that may be new to some, PIKTOCHART.  While creating the presentation be as creative as you would like!! This class is all about creativity and expression so embrace it! Your presentation must include the following pieces of information about yourself!

The basics….
  • Your name
  • Your age
  •  Where you are from
  • Other countries you have lived or schools you have attended
  • Your favorite movie, song, band, video game, tv show (choose two).

It’s all about self-analysis: MOST IMPORTANT PART
  •  What type of learner are you?  (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) Explain what that means for you as a student.
  • Are you left or right brained? Explain

Optional Additional Information:

  • What three symbols/images represent you best?
  • Who inspires you? (Mandela, Obama, Mother Theresa, your mom, Mr. Darrick)

Publishing Your Work:

How to save your files as a PDF: MUST WATCH!

Think you are done? Double check with this checklist:
  • Did I include all the information?
  • Is my learning style and brain style complete and detailed?
  • Did I change 4 things on my PiktoChart from my peer review sheet?
  • Did I write which things I adjusted on my peer review sheet? (Will Ms. Ashley know which writing is who? If not use a highlighter to highlight your words.)
Next Steps:
  1. Save your file as a PDF (watch video)
  2. Make sure it is in the Student Drive (IT Class, MS Media Design, All About Me Infographics)
  3. Print your poster on A4 pages
  4. Cut one side of poster and glue the edges together
  5. Back it with a piece of large paper (choose a color that goes with your design)
